Spatial and Temporal Reasoning
About this Page
Welcome to the home page on spatial and temporal reasoning. The idea
for this page was born at the IJCAI-95 Workshop on Spatial and
Temporal Reasoning, whose aim it was to bring together divers
approaches with a common theme, leading the participants to a broader
understanding of the issues and techniques in their chosen field of
specialty. Hopefully this page achieves the same aim.
This page is permanently under construction.
Upcoming Events
The
Workshop on Spatial and Temporal Reasoning
at the
21st International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence
follows a tradition of workshops that started at IJCAI-93 in
Chambéry, France, and continued with similar workshops at
various IJCAI, AAAI, and ECAI conferences. Each of these workshops had
its own distinctive flavor, but all have promoted the interchange of
ideas between the craftspeople of spatial reasoning and the artisans
of temporal theories.
Similar in spirit to this workshop are the following events:
Search Engine
Amit Mukerjee maintains a
searchable bibliography
for spatial reasoning, which is extensively annotated and can also
serve as a literature review. All entries have been reviewed by
someone and have been tagged with a uniform set of keywords.
Other WWW Pages
There are various other WWW pages on spatial and temporal reasoning.
A few of them are listed here:
