Presentation Format for ICST 2005

Oral presentation

Total time allowed for each paper is 20 minutes, of which 15 minutes are for presentation and 5 minutes for questions and answers. The time limit will be strictly enforced.

You can use your own laptop or bring the Powerpoint presentation file(s) on a CD or Flash drive. Before your session, you can copy the file(s) on to the PC available in the presentation room. Even if you use your own laptop, you are strongly advised to bring the presentation file on a CD or Flash drive as a backup. An over-head projector is also available, should you want to use transparencies.

There are two awards for the best student papers (oral presentation) and two more for best papers.

Poster Presentation

The maximum poster size is portrait A0 (900 mm wide, 1200 mm high). Please do not simply pin up your proceedings paper.

There are two awards for the best poster presentations. The session chairs will be the judges and they will talk to the authors individually during the poster session. Judgement will be based on display, contents, dissemination and interaction.

All awards will be given out during the closing ceremony.
