The Institute of Information Sciences and Technology, Massey University, is pleased to announce that the 3rd International Conference on Autonomous Robots and Agents (ICARA 2006) will be held in Palmerston North, New Zealand, from 12-14 December, 2006

ICARA 2006 is intended to provide a common forum for researchers, scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout the world to present their latest research findings, ideas, developments and applications in the area of autonomous robotics and agents.ICARA 2006 will include keynote addresses by eminent scientists as well as special, regular and poster sessions. All papers will be peer reviewed on the basis of a full length manuscript and acceptance will be based on quality, originality and relevance. The review process will be double blind and author details will not be divulged to the reviewers. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Paper Submission

Authors are invited to submit the manuscript (4 to 6 pages including references) of their technical paper, for oral or poster presentation, in MS WORD or PDF format by email to ICARA2006@massey.ac.nz. The MS Word and PDF templates are available on the Paper Submission page. Final manuscripts will be limited to six (6) A4 size pages.

In submitting a paper, the author(s) agree that, upon acceptance, they will prepare the final manuscript in time for inclusion into the published proceedings and will present the paper at the conference. The final manuscript will not be published without advance registration.

Special Sessions

ICARA solicits special session proposals.  The special sessions are intended to stimulate in-depth discussions in special areas relevant to the conference.  The session organisers will coordinate the review process for their session papers.  The conference proceedings will include all papers from the special sessions. Please submit your proposal to ICARA2006@massey.ac.nz.
